Not least because I think if you catch people speeding down in their cars down residential streets under the conditions currently prevailing in the District (i.e., snow, ice, and people walking in the road because the damn sidewalks aren't shoveled), you should be allowed/encouraged/required to shoot them with the largest firearm that can be brought to bear.  Or drop them in a deep hole and let snow plows dump snow on top of them until spring time comes.  Or, hell, just douse them with gasoline and set them on fire, I'm not all that picky - my justice need not be poetic, final will do.

Perhaps I've been cooped up in the snow too long. . .

I think that all follows. I am not a bit sorry I'm missing the snow. We had six inches which is a lot here, and we're supposed to get three tonight, but I'm afraid it's not a big deal to me anymore!

I was remarking to one of the secretaries that snow days seemed a lot more fun in the halcyon days of my youth. Perhaps because when we had snow days back then, it meant you could actually, yanno, not go into work. *sigh* Normally, I'm quite fond of snow, but at this point, spring would be nice.

It did used to seem like more fun, didn't it? And snow days with no school? Way more fun for somebody else!

I'm thinking you have, yes.

That said, I walked to work this morning, so I'm hardly going to argue!
