The good! My iPhone 3GS arrived!

The bad: I can't set  it up until I get home.  :-(  Bummer.  On the other hand, at least it will give me new shiny toy to play with, as I navigate the joys of mandatory fun! (Big health lawyers' conference beginning of next week - round of mandatory social outings and cocktail parties and dinners this weekend, for all the out of towners coming in for the conference).

I would sympathize, except that I've hung onto the 2G for all this time!

I still don't know for sure. I'm hoping to take off and come down, but things are still pretty crazy up here. Also, I need to get a new driver's license, as I let mine lapse out of carelessness and now I have to take both the written and driving tests to get a new one up here.

Grats! Good luck getting it working. Then again, it's an iPhone, they're pretty solid.

I'm looking forward to playing with the new phone - I've had the 2G for almost 2 years now, and it'll be nice to have a new one.

Still hoping to come down to NC for your birthday - got to make sure I can take time off (and find time to get a new driver's license!).
